Saudi Arabia 118NJ
The Saudi 118NJ is a specialized linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) material manufactured by Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC).
Key parameters: melt index (MFR) is 1.0g/10min(190°C/2.16kg), density is 0.918g/cm3. Additives include slipper (oleic acid amide) and anti-adhesive (diatomite).
Technical Specifications: Features high tensile strength (≥28MPa in longitudinal direction and ≥25MPa in transverse direction per ISO 527-3), with excellent puncture resistance (≥850g impact per ASTM D1709). Ideal for blow molding processes, it ensures bubble stability with thickness deviation ≤5% and a low heat seal initiation temperature of 110°C, making it suitable for high-speed packaging lines. The material exhibits haze ≤10% and gloss ≥85% (per ASTM D1003), delivering outstanding optical performance.
Application Fields: The extrusion and blow molding processes are utilized to manufacture frozen food bags, composite film inner layers, and vertical packaging bags for food packaging applications. In the construction and building materials sector, industrial films and packaging solutions such as FIBC (Foil-in-Bulk) bags are produced. Agricultural applications include specialized films and stretch films. Additionally, the lamination molding technique creates laminated boards for construction panels, while also serving specialized purposes like medical packaging films and high-transparency label substrates.
Market Positioning and Advantages: Positioned in the premium LLDPE market, this product competes with Dow LEXAN 2045G. Its core advantages include a 10%-15% price advantage over comparable European and American products, stable supply, and compliance with FDA (21 CFR) and EU 10/2011 food-grade standards.
