Low-density Polyethylene (LDPE)

Daqing 2420D is a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) product manufactured by Daqing Petrochemical.

Product characteristics: It is a milky white, tasteless and odorless wax-like granule with non-glossy surface. It has good softness, extensibility, electrical insulation, transparency, easy processability and certain permeability. It has good chemical stability, alkali resistance and general organic solvent resistance. It also has high temperature resistance, aging resistance and high flow characteristics.

Performance parameters: density of 0.923g/cm3, melt index of 0.32g/10min, tensile breaking strength of 14.2MPa, elongation at break of 490%, fish eyes of less than 5 /cm2.

Processing level: Suitable for blow molding, extrusion and other processing technologies. It can be used in various thermoplastic forming processes such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, rotational molding, coating, foaming, etc.

Application Fields: Primarily used in film production. Agricultural Applications: Serves as a specialized raw material for mulch films and greenhouse films. Its excellent aging resistance, high-temperature tolerance, and high fluidity enable it to adapt to various agricultural environments, providing optimal protection for crop growth. Packaging Applications: Suitable for manufacturing heavy-duty packaging films, shrink films, and general packaging films. With superior transparency, tensile strength, and impact resistance, it meets diverse packaging requirements, including small blow-molded packaging, daily-use packaging, and general-purpose packaging films. Additional Applications: Also utilized in cable material production, where its outstanding electrical insulation properties offer effective protection for cables.
