Saudi Arabia 119ZJ
The Saudi 119ZJ is a premium butene-based linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) material developed by Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) using solution process technology. Specifically engineered for ultra-thin, high-strength films, it is widely applicable across diverse industrial applications.
Basic information: Produced by metallocene catalysis, the melting index is 1.2g/10min(190°C/2.16kg), the density is 0.917g/cm3, and the additives are nano anti-adhesion agent (silica) and composite antioxidant (Irganox 1076).
Technical Specifications: The film exhibits high tensile strength (≥30MPa) and exceptional puncture resistance, with a drop impact strength of ≥900g. It demonstrates excellent processability for high-speed film blowing, achieving a linear speed of up to 300m/min with thickness uniformity deviation ≤3% and low exudation characteristics. Optical properties are outstanding, featuring haze ≤6% and light transmittance ≥92%, approaching glass-grade transparency. Films produced from this resin exhibit strong toughness, superior puncture resistance, high tensile strength, and excellent heat sealing performance. The resin contains slip agents and anti-blocking agents, and is free from TNPP (trinonylphenyl phosphite).
Application Scope: The material is processed through extrusion and blow molding to produce stretch wrap films for packaging, including fresh produce bags, liner bags, shopping bags, garbage bags, transport packaging, frozen food bags, and ice packs. It also serves as composite and co-extruded films for meat packaging, frozen food, and other food packaging. Additionally, it is used in agricultural films. When blended with low-density polyethylene (LDPE), it can be applied as shrink film, industrial consumer packaging, and high-transparency films.
Market Positioning and Advantages: Positioned in the premium LLDPE market, this product competes with Mitsui Chemical's EVOLUE SP0520. It achieves 20% thinner profiles, reduced material consumption per unit area, and 10%-15% lower overall costs. Additionally, it has obtained certifications from FDA, EU 10/2011, and RoHS 2.0.
