A wide range of colors-such as black, blue, green, red, white, and yellow-can be produced to meet customer requirements, enabling the film to serve dual purposes: packaging protection and cargo identification.
In addition to base materials and color masterbatches, some colored stretch films incorporate functional additives such as antistatic agents, UV stabilizers, slip agents, and tackifiers. These additives further enhance product performance-improving transparency, weather resistance, aging resistance, and self-adhesion-to meet packaging needs across diverse environments.
Most colored stretch films are manufactured using the cast co-extrusion process. This multi-layer structure maximizes the performance of the various raw materials, ensuring the film's toughness, stretchability, and puncture resistance while simultaneously reducing material consumption and increasing packaging efficiency. With the rise of eco-friendly packaging, an increasing number of manufacturers are utilizing recyclable polyethylene materials to produce colored stretch films, thereby meeting market demands for green packaging and sustainable development.
